I was very dissatisfied with the service we received at Southroads Dental. We repeatedly asked them not to leave messages in spanish because no one in our family speaks spanish however we kept getting voicemails in spanish. At my 7 year olds last check-up the dentist never even spoke with me to let me know how she was doing. I wasn't taken back to the exam room to meet with the dentist. The dental assistant came out and informed me that my daughter had three cavities. I agreed to make an appointment with them to get the cavities filled because they had filled a few cavities before and they had used the gas instead of giving her shots which help her a lot. Before her most recent appointment I again received confirmation voicemails in spanish. When I called back (I had to look up the number online to see who had left me a voicemail) I informed the lady that answered the phone that I was calling to confirm an appointment. She asked me who it was for and when I told her my daughter's name she snickered. When my daughter went to have her cavities filled she wasn't given the gas this time. They gave her shots, but never thought to have a guardian in the room to help comfort her. We will not be going back to Southroads Dental and I would not recommend anyone take their child to this place. The staff is rude and extremely unprofessional.

Marsha, I want to share my experience at Southroads Dental. I found the staff all top notch and very friendly and caring. I did not care it all about Dr. Robert Colwell. He is rude- to me and I have overheard him talking to other patients in other treatment rooms. When I shared my concerns with the office manager at the time, she suggested that I see one of the other Dr's in the office. I am glad I did, I got to work with the same top notch staff but with a new and improved dentist. That dentist has since left the office and I followed him and some of the previous Southroads staff to a new office.

Pleasant people-teeth cleaning satisfactory-HOWEVER, repeated trips to get fillings and caps done right, and a molar pulled that probably could have been fixed, AND advised over $2,500. for bridge & replacement molar. NO THANKS- time to find a better alternative.
