About John Edwards Salon John Edwards' Salon, owned by Cathy McMahon has been serving the Bellevue community since 1999. Prior to opening John Edwards' Salon, Cathy owned and operated Hair Biz, which she purchased in 1996. When she had the opportunity to purchase a new business which would give her the chance to expand her existing business, she immediately grabbed it. She renamed her business John Edwards' Salon after her father, the salon's first financial backer. Cathy's personal mission statement is "To change the world by seeking wholeness for myself so I can empower team members to touch customers' lives in a powerful way". She instituted a skills program to boost performance and indoctrine employees into the company philosphy "...to provide exceptional customer service in a warm and caring environment". Cathy also tries to give her staff the opportunity to develop into management material. Not only is Cathy the owner of John Edwards' Salon & Day Spa, she continues to provide salon services to an abundance of loyal clients, many who have followed her through her career of more than 25 years.
