I live a very active life and I have a very demanding job so pain can't exactly be in my vocabulary. During a grueling weekend I had some how hurt my neck. After a few days the aches were enough to make it impossible to turn my neck more than a couple inches each way. Waking up with headaches and a stiff sore neck is never the way I want to start my day. I finally decided after much prodding from a friend to visit a local chiropractor in the Kearney area. When I had my first initial and after filling out paper work I was taken back to a room. As soon as the doctor heard what I do for a living he thought he knew the answer to my problems and that I'm sure was to have me come back over and over again. After the adjustments he gave me on my back (not even checking my neck) I was less than impressed. While walking out of the clinic I began to bawl knowing that he did nothing for me but literally only take my money. With the bad experience under my belt I was dead set on never visiting another "bone cracker" again. But i have a very convincing friend and she told me to try her doctors Craig and Lacey Akridge. After my first visit I was sold. Dr. Craig had me sitting in a patient room having me tell him exactly how i thought I had injured my neck and after doing an exam he knew how he could help and he explained how and why I was in pain. After his adjustment, I was a little sore, but with how long I was in pain it honestly felt like nothing and with the preventative stretches and exercises he showed me how to do I have been pain free, and the best part is I know how to stay pain free. No matter the drive time it takes me to see them the are my only choice in chiropractic care and I have no problem spreading the word on the gold mine I have found. Their up to date equipment and friendly atmosphere make it a comfortable place to get care and I would recommend it to anyone. But by far the best thing about them is they are all about getting you the help you need and trying to keep it from happening again. You can tell they are very honest people who actually care about the patient and not just the paycheck!!!!

Following months of physiotherapy to try to alleviate an issue with my lower back I had reached a level where I was showing no signs of improvement. Being a visitor to the area, I used online reviews to make a judgment as to which chiropractor to visit. I’d never visited a chiropractor before so was unsure what to expect, however, at my initial assessment I was put at ease. The professionalism Drs Craig and Lacey presented and the relaxed atmosphere of their modern practice was outstanding.



Being a military pilot, I can’t take any chances with my physical health and given my unpredictable schedule during my temporary stay in Omaha, they always went out of their way to ensure there was no delay in my treatment. Considering the pain I was in when I arrived, my rate of recovery was fantastic. My flexibility has returned and I’m back to my pre-injured self again. I am able to carry out my duties without compromise.



It’s a family practice with a smile, professional and modern. I couldn’t have asked for anymore.

I fell on the ice last winter and hurt my hip which resulted in a lot of pain and a limp. Even after 7 months of x-rays and meds and physical therapy, I still had the pain and the limp. My podiatrist suggested I see the doctors Lacey and Craig Akridge.I am so glad I did. I felt so much relief after the very first visit and I continue to improve .

I had been having neck pain for about 8 months and nothing was working, physical therapy seemed to make it worse for me so I started to look for a chiropracter - I called the office of Akridge & Akridge and Lacey answered the phone, she told me a bit about their practice and gave me a choice of her or Craig to work on my - I chose Lacey because I had never been to a chiropracter before and thought I would be more comfortable with a female. When I got to the office I immediately felt like I had know Craig and Lacey for years, I was comfortable and even when Lacey told me that she had an unexpectant appt and Craig would take care of me I did not mind. I feel better now than I have in years - my neck is getting better and Craig has been working on my low back for pain that I've had for more than 15 years. I walk in the office with a smile and I walk out with a smile - highly recommend the both of them to anyone who needs the help they can give. Awesome people and absolutely wonderful doctors. My husband found Akridge & Akridge Chiropractic the day he woke up with back pain. He called that morning and they got him in right away, He was impressed with their professionalism and state-of-the-art equipment. He could barely walk and within just a few visits they found his source of pain and he was on his way to feeling better. He gets monthly adjustments and he feels great! I am also a patient of theirs and must I say they are wonderful at what they do. I had back pain and Craig was awesome enough to come in after hours to help get me on my way to feeling better. I don't know what I would have done that day if he wasn't willing to come in to help me. I highly recommend them to anyone who is experiencing back pain b/c they will get you on your way to feeling better in no time! They are two of the nicest people I have ever met and their customer service is excellent and that is hard to find these days!! Thank You Craig and Lacey!!!

Akridge & Akridge Chiropractic has provided me with great care for my TMJ, neck and back issues. They are professional, careful and thorough in finding the trigger points of the pain and treating the symptoms.



Who knew you could get chiropractic treatment for TMJ?! I've had 2 treatments and my pain is nearly gone.

They have been a blessing to me and my family. Our family is a tad accident prone, so we visit their wonderful facilities often! I fell on the ice this winter, what a simple thing that became so painful and fast! The treatment plan was amazing and got me back on my feet and in the gym...in no time! I'm so appreciative of how knowledgeable they both are in their field. My son was in a car accident in March '11 and had hurt his neck and back. He was able to start a treatment plan that got him back to being a 17 year old, captain of the varsity soccer team, and playing ball in a short time. Doctors wanted to just put him in some PT program that would have caused more damage. Glad I had other options with Akridge Chiropractic care. I was very impressed with all their state of the art equipment and the knowledge that comes with it! Thank you Craig and Lacey for coming to our area!

What can I say about Akridge & Akridge? They have been a godsend to my wife and me. they relieved me of some pain that I had been experiencing for several months. I was extremely impressed with the state-of-the-art equipment they have as well as the quality of care they have been giving me. They quickly found the source of my pain, began very good treatment that has been great for me, and after only a few weeks, I am virtually pain free and back at my regular workout routine. I will continue my regular visits to Akridge and Akridge because I want to continue to improve. I would highly recommend and have recommended Akridge & Akridge to anyone in need of quality chiropractic care; not because Craig and Lacey are friends of mine but because they are very good at what they do.
