Provided by YP.comI have been with Cindy for 7 years and she took me from a beginner showing at local open shows to successfully competing all over the country and at the world show level this past year in 2015. Whether you are looking for a barn with facilities to ride in the winter in her new indoor riding arena or are looking to have a trainer who will help you improve your skills in and out of the show pen, Cindy can do it all! Her barn feeds top quality alfalfa hay and has an excellent supplement program through DAC aswell!

Provided by YP.comMy daughter started in 2004, we had to leave for financial reasons, it lasted about 6 months and Ms Reynoylds made sure she helped us to make sure we can afford it, her only down fall is that she cares to much for the girls, because if she was in it for the money she wouldn't have keeped us. The horses are cared for and have always taken care of physically and emothionally. If you need to ask someone that has left give me a call or email me @ chboski@aol.com and I will tell you how Happy we are and how we love the Reynolds Family.

Provided by YP.comI use this facility for primarily for boarding and for training a green horse. Ms. Reynolds and her daughter are extremely knowledgeable of horse health and training. They get me the best deals on farrier, vaccines, etc., which is VERY important if you are on a budget, like me. The place isn't kept up like a show barn so if you are expecting a fresh coat of paint on the barns every season, only beautiful young thoroughbreds, and pasture grass for miles, I recommend Gross Pointe Hunt Club. Reynold's Riding Academy, on the other hand, is a backyard barn.
I've seen a couple complaints about animal health in the reviews. I'd like to point out that one dog had severe allergies that caused skin problems and one horse is over 30 years old and therefore cannot maintain weight easily. I can definitely see how this would look bad, but these problems are not due to neglect! If your favorite pet got old and you knew that he or she would never look like a healthy animal again, what would you do? Put him down? Give him away? Ms. Reynolds has chosen to keep her companions and help them be as happy and healthy as they can be with chronic (not terminal) illness, even at the expense of how her barn "looks" to newcomers. I respect that.
I rated this barn a 4 out of 5 because, although the trainers (Mrs. And Miss Reynolds) are very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, it is true that the arena has debris in the dirt and the pastures are a little overcrowded.

Provided by YP.comI have had 12 years experience in the horse world, and have worked and cared for horses at one of the largest stables in upstate New York. I have also boarded at stables where the welfare of my horse was severely neglected. I am currently taking riding lessons at Reynolds Riding Academy. The care at this stable is top notch. The hay is fantastic, and the horses are given ample access to hay, water, and grain. I believe that perhaps people don't know what an unhealthy/starved horse looks like. The horses are not overcrowded. Horses get injuries, it can happen in a stall or in a pasture. These are supposed to be reviews of the care/ businesses, not the reviews of personal aspects. Here are true facts about Reynolds Riding Academy:
1. The feed/water is great.
2. The lesson horses are VERY well trained and safe.
3. The instruction is great.
4. The training is great.
5. The care of the horses is great.
6. The riding atmosphere is wonderful.
Long story short... I love it.

Provided by YP.comEverything negative that has been written is true. You don't have to make anything up, the truth is bad enough, and that's just the beginning of the story. Animals are given inhumane treatment at her place and they suffer. She's only in it for the money so she doesn't have to get a real job! There's too many ex-boarders out here to try and sugar-coat things like this. She needs to be shut down and go away for good!

Provided by YP.comMs. Reynolds and family run an affordable, clean, fun and safe place to learn to ride. Very informal and friendly and associated with a top notch 4H club. Cindy Reynolds is a quality horse trainer with many years experience. She teaches children and adults to ride and care for their horses from English to Western seat and beyond. If you don't own a horse, no problem. The horses used for lessons are well trained and taken care of. Give this place a try.
