We have rented through Strano property for many years and they have always treated us good. Repairs was taken care of promptly and within a decent time period. We have always received fair treatment with every house we have rented from Strano Property Management. If your looking for a rent home i would recommend Strano to anyone. thank you Donna Range for all your help over the years.

Go elsewhere if you don't want to be ripped off. Military member - Rented 6 bedroom for 1 year. Received house in dirty condition...dog hair everywhere, bathrooms filthy...had to clean entire house. Multiple issues with house during the year...slow response to respond and non-experts used to make patch work repairs. I would not be pleased if I owned this house. Upon move out, the inspection noted dust on kitchen lights, multiple light bulbs out and a basement bathroom that was not cleaned (no objection, my mistake). I was charged $800.00 from my security deposit. I was given some receipts for a handyman who changed the light bulbs, landscaping and one from a cleaning company with zero itemization. I was given 15 days to contest, which I did; Zero response after multiple emails. This is just one of my follow through efforts. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. This is my first ever online review, which should also tell you something. If you are a renter, don't rent from a Strano managed property. If you are an owner, Strano will not look after your house!

Horrible. Can't give it Zero stars. Worst rental situation ever. Place is filthy, parking is too limited. Upon move out everything Strano can charge you for, they do! Biggest scam/slum lords imaginable. I left this place in better condition than move in and did all my own maintenance due to it not getting done for months. True fear sets in when you see their maintenance guys try to fix something, I'm glad we didn't die in a fire. Makes sense why they force you to have renters insurance, they know it's a timebomb. If you can sue, do! Class action anyone?

At best, they're unprofessional and unethical. They run their business like a bunch of disorganized, snarky, foul mannered sorority girls. They consistently ignore phone calls and emails and then make up their own versions of past communications even when they never took place. Bottom line...they are horrible souls that treat homeowners and tenants with complete disdain. Do yourself a huge favor and simply look elsewhere. I wish we had enough sense to check these reviews prior to dealing with them. Perhaps we would have been wise enough to avoid this troublesome group.

This is the worst property management company I have ever seen. I wish I read all the reviews on them before signing up with them to manage my property. They are racist, and care less for the owner of the property. They make more money than the owner because they charge ridiculous money in fixing very little thing. they will buy $20 parts for repair then charge $1,000 for labor as a result the owners are always behind and making mortgage payment with no income because they are going towards labor but they make sure to take their charges and first rent. They are rude to owner and tenant, hardly return phone calls or emails. I recommend you run run run before you regret your decision. Took them five months to find a tenant yet refused to terminate contract twice. They have lawyers ready to fight you, had to wait patiently for the one year to complete before firing them. BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I applied for a home with Strano with an income of 10,000 a month. They denied us even after receiving 5 star feedback from our references and didn't even bother to return our call to tell us we were denied. The reason they denied us looks like the same reason a lot of renters through Strano theirselves are doing/having issues with. We sat in a house full of black mold through American Homes 4 Rent and my husband is disabled, 100% through the VA and on SS also he is 80% disabled through the USAF and was getting deathly ill. I because of the mold expose am on inhalers now with breathing issues and he had mold poisoning. My two younger daughter were ill as well. So now starts a new chapter, we thought Strano would be helpful in helping us as A) Excellent tenants and B) A military family with reputable references. They were extremely cross upon me calling back to ask if I could explain the situation of the home we had to leave for medical reasons and basically had nothing to say. That was a wasted $50. Obviously someone is keeping them in business. Regardless, after reading these reviews, I am seeing that if I had been approved I would have been I. The same shoes with Strano that I was with AH4R. I think another mold infested home would do my entire family in. I hope if these people are taking advantage of our military families and retired military even the disabled retired military families. They are predators. They shouldn't treat ANY family like this. The sad part is they do t even have enough properties to have any bad reviews! If they have bad reviews, then they've bit off more than they can chew!!!

We rented from Strano several years ago and they took forever to get maintenance done. The staff seemed condescending and they billed us for many things that already like that when we moved in. We will never go back or recommend this company!

Don't rent from these racist people. Paid my rent on time and gave me a horrible recommendation. All because I confronted them about the racist remark that was made towards my African American husband, that led into a heated argument with the staff, I beg anyone to stay away. They never fixed the sink that was stopped and cause pipe issues for the house we were living in, and the problems they did address they make you pay for it. They charge 150.00 late fee, which is why I made sure I paid my rent on time. Never felt welcome by the staff after we signed on that dotted line. They will ignore any issues that come about and will nickel and dime you for ll repairs that should have been addressed prior to you moving that you did not create.

NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not even begin describe how horrible this company is, but I will try. My husband and I are renting a house from Strano currently and we are counting down the days, hours and seconds to when we will be done. The nightmare started within days of starting our lease. Linda Lender and her team said that we never paid our first months rent. Thankfully, we were able to prove that we did because we were in possession of the keys which they only give you AFTER they have received your first check. When we told them of this fact, they said oh, we must have miss-placed it in our office. They then proceeded to call us every week and demand we cancel the check, we told them repeatedly that we paid with a cashiers check and this would only be possible after 90 days. They continued to call us and speak to us as though it was our fault. I even think they lied to the owners and told them that we just didn't pay. When we finally got this resolved after 90 days, the nightmare did not end. If something needs to be repaired, if it costs under $50, you are responsible. So you know everything costs under $50 dollars. The rent is grossly overcharged! My husband and I unfortunately did not figure this out until after we signed the lease. We have continually found Linda and her team to be hostile and hard to reach. Please, please use another leasing company!!! Strano is by far the worst experience I have ever had with such a company!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to give them at least one star to post this, but I wish I could give them negative 5!!!!!

Nightmare!! DO NOT trust them to manage your property. Because other than transfer the monthly check, that's as far as their "property management" goes. After 4+ years of dealing with them and forgiving and giving them "one more try", the straw has officially broken the camels back. I don't even know where to begin to list all the mishandling.



The first tenant- They didn't do the "property inspection/walk through" until AFTER the tenant moved in. She had broken our hand rail on our stairs while moving in and WE had to pay for it to get fixed. AND nothing was noted on the move-out inspection form about bleach stains on the carpet. They were HUGE, about a square foot or so in several places, multiple rooms. Anyone could've clearly seen them. Strano did not document them. Strano also didn't document that our brown curtains were missing after the first tenant moved out. Why? Because they didn't document them on the move-in inspection.



After the tenant moved out, I asked them to paint the trim of my house before winter so it would be keep the wood safe. They just decided not to. Several months later while trying to find a new tenant, the tenant (I found the tenant and still had to pay them a $600 finders fee), told me the house was in horrible condition. I trekked across 4 states to drive up and see the property and the tenant was right. This is when I saw the huge bleach stains on our carpet, wood rotting off the side of the house, trim hadn't been painted (so poorly that you cold clearly see all the wood grain, totally bare), and more. Let's just say, that was an unpleasant visit and conversation for all. I should have fired them on the spot! But I decided to forgive and give it one more go. I asked for a minimum an annual inspection of the property. That didn't happen. They let it slide and when I emailed at the 1yr and several months mark, they had just gotten around to doing an inspection. Pitiful. How does one adequately manage a property without visiting it? That is an industry standard!



Communication: I'd give that 2.5-3 stars. It's generally poor. Some people respond better than others. As I type this review, I'm waiting on a response from Linda Linder the head of Prop Mgt. She was supposed to contact me early in the week. It is the end of business Friday and no sign of her contact. This is par for the course. I'm begging to be let free from the mishandling of our property.



Monthly money handling: 4 stars. I am trying to be fair here people. Every month they drop our money in our account (minus their $72/month fee). There was one time there was an issue and honestly I don't remember why, but it was resolved promptly. This is the only thing they have done well. Since this is likely an automated thing and very little man power involved, we say thank you to the computers for this. And this is the only reason they received 2 stars overall instead of the "1" that I feel best describes their service. Just trying to be fair.



There are many more things I could discuss but I'm tired of rehashing their negligence. I just want to give a fair and accurate warning to other people. Steer clear of Strano. Anyone is welcome to contact me and ask more. I saved all my emails to validate and back up all my claims and issues with them.
