My daughter just graduated from Learning Journey, and has gone to daycare/preschool there for three years including her first year at Toddle Town. We are extremely happy with her experience there. The teachers are caring and fun, and our daughter was always happy to see and interact with them. We received constant feedback on how she was doing from the staff with daily reports that included fun pictures of her in action doing activities. Communicating with the directors of the school was super easy and pleasant. It was an emotional day for us when she graduated, but I am completely sure that her time at Learning Journey has prepared her well for kindergarten.

The entire staff of the Learning Journey is kind, caring, nurturing and always willing to take the extra step to keep children safe, healthy, and happy! I have especially been impressed with their safety measures throughout the pandemic - I'm very grateful to have peace of mind when sending my son to school each day. Thanks, Learning Journey staff, for a wonderful place to call home!

My daughter attended Toddle Town and then Learning Journey and we have had positive experiences. Wonderful staff, clean facility, good communication .

We love Learning Journey! My little girl has learned so much since she has started going there. The teachers really love the kids like they are their own! Finding them has been a blessing for our family!

My daughter has been going to this daycare franchise since she was 4 months old. I have never had any issues and she has enjoyed it so much. The staff is very attentive and informative. I am always kept up to date with what is going on with my child. The facilities are quaint and clean. It is a great daycare and at an affordable price.

I think the hardest part of working full time with a child is when/where/who is going to care for my child? I have complete peace of mind dropping my son off at Learning Journey! He loves his teachers and the activities and his friends. The staff are so genuine and friendly. Best of all, I trust them with my child. And he is always so excited to return in the morning...makes me thankful for such a school!

I don't know what is wrong with the parent that was unhappy with Learning Journey. I have a Master's Degree in Early Education and I can tell you Learning Journey is the best! I figure if the Illinois State Board of Education feels that Learning Journey is good enough to receive an Early Childhood Block Grant, they must be doing something right. I would be concerned if my child came home from daycare clean everyday. That would lead me to believe that the child is not learning through play and having a good time. I want my child to excel at school, not be institutionalized. I thought the pictures of the teachers in the hallway was a wonderful thing to make my child feel more comfortable. Did you make it past the front door??? If you did, then you would realize that every inch of wall space is covered in the children's art work. My child and I are welcomed everyday and they are very attentive to our needs. It seems to me the problem is not with Learning Journey rather the parent and the child. If your child has this much problem with seperation, I suggest you read a book on Parent/Child Separation such as Helping Your Child Overcome Separation Anxiety or School Refusal: A Step-by-Step Guide For Parents by Andrew R. Eisen. You may have been able to find this book in the Learning Journey's Lending Library for Parents. I am sure you are aware of the library. My husband and I made an unannounced visit and received a one hour orientation of Learning Journey and all of the wonderful things they offer. I am more than pleased with my daughter's care at Learning Journey. I couldn't ask for a better place to help my child develop and grow.
