I have visited both the Hawthorne and Beaverton location in my 2+ years of membership. I had always asked for alerts and notifications any time money from my checking was low or money from my savings needed to be transferred to my checking, usually I would get at least an email alert. I've recently been put in a situation where funds have been very tight and I'm in the middle of moving. Anyways, I never got one notification or email about the 9 times they charged me fee's for transferring money from my savings to my checkings. When I went into the Beaverton Location to talk to them about this, I was told that the manager was not in and that nothing could be done at the present time besides filling out a form that would be submitted to the manager when he came back in. The lady at the counter was very nice and helped me set up text message notifications and everything. However, I asked her to empty my accounts because I flat out could not afford the risk of them taking more of my money from me. I left only $25 in my checking, and I asked the lady helping me at the counter twice if I had anything pending in my accounts and she said no. I had to fill out a form for the manager about my account and requesting the fee's to be refunded because he was 'out of the office', and because 'they've reversed fee's for me in the past'. I felt offended that they continue to bring up the fact that I've had a fee reversed before. I believe that was last year, maybe even a full year ago. When the manager called me back and left a voice-mail letting me know that because (again) they have reversed fee's for me in the past that he couldn't do anything but give me back $5 (out of $45). He also brought up the fact that since I cleared my accounts that the next time this happens, I will be charged $30. Which, I was aware of since the gal at the counter told me that, which is why I asked for the SECOND TIME if I had anything pending in my account. And, again, she said no. So, last night I receive a text message at 8:15 pm alerting me that my account is overdrawn now by about 44 dollars. A check WAS pending that was for 40, and I had only 25 in my account. So, they charged me $30. I called and left a voice-mail with the manager who called me from Beaverton last night immediately. They opened at 9, it is now 10 and I have no heard anything back yet. However, I'm assuming they will not refund that either. So, all in all I have a total of over $80 in FEES from JUST THIS MONTH ALONE. I am a 'starving student' (literally, I'm waiting for my next check to prove I work enough for food stamps), I work nearly full time (37hrs), I attend school full time (3.52 GPA), I am in the middle of moving. I switched to a COMMUNITY credit union because I believed that they wouldn't be as greedy or judgmental as all the other big banks I've banked with in the past. I am so disappointed to learn that Rivermark Community Credit Union is just the same: Terrible, Cold and Heartless.

The best decision I ever made!

They are the greatest banking experience I have ever had. They helped with everything from home loan, to credit line and checking and savings. The Clackamas branch is great.
