I used to believe that buying from your local dealer was important. Well at least until I bought a Husqvarna lawnmower from Maxwell s. I bought mine last fall used it twice and then called saying I was not happy with it and wanted to exchange it for the more expensive Ariens. The owner responded what am I supposed to do with your unit So here I am new season same piece of junk mower with not too many options. I paid almost $600 for it I could sell it for $250 MAYBE doubt I d get that. My recommendation skip the small mom and pop shops who don t have a written return or customer service policy. When it comes down to it they have little interest in taking care of the customer. Buy from Home Depot or Lowes. at least with them you know if something goes wrong you have 30 days to return it and they re not gonna give you a hard time about taking back something that is junk ESPECIALLY if you re going to spend more money.
