I was in a wreck last night and the tow truck driver towed my vehicle to Blue Heroin auto storage. the driver gave me a card and said to call the number in the morning to get my car removed by my body shops towing company. So I called the next morning and they said my charges were 210.00 which I was ok with. so I met my towing service there to get my car out and they then told me my bill was for 725.00. I called my insurance and they told me not to pay anything and at this point my body shop was closed. So I told them that I wanted to speak with the tow truck driver to dispute the charges. I waited for over an hour for the driver D. Garcia with tdlr#22428 to show up but he never did even though the facility told me several times he was on the way. Then I was asked to come back in the office were a young woman proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't have to pay for anything because it was the other persons fault, but if I wanted to get it out today it would now be 925.78. even my tow driver was like what the f@#* the car wasn't even there 24hrs at this point. I was never given a receipt at the scene of the accident or a price. So what i'm trying to say is do not take your vehicle to these rapists or let it get towed there, because they have no problem looking you right in the eyes and raping you. They were extremely unprofessional to me and the tow truck driver that came to get my vehicle, even calling him out saying don't act like you've never charged that much before. To which he replied whats the county rate here. they answered 145.50, but it was a consent tow, to which he replied well it says on your sign outside consent tow 145.50 which only enraged the others in the office. So I left as well as my tow driver empty handed. to have to deal with till Monday when my insurance and body shop can get involved. Who knows maybe it will be over 2,000.00 by then. These people need to get shut down. I will be reporting them to harris county traffic division and TDLR.
