A native of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Hernandez received his medical education at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and subsequently completed his residency training in Otolaryngology â?? Head and Neck Surgery at LSU. Dr. Hernandez sees patients within the Division of Head and Neck Oncology and Rhinology. He has special interests in revision endoscopic sinus surgery, complex frontal sinus surgery, open and endoscopic approaches to sinonasal tumors, minimally invasive pituitary surgery, repair of encephaloceles and CSF leaks, expanded endonasal approaches for skull base tumors, orbital surgery, and complex skull base reconstruction.
