I went to get some wire. That had to cut my 5foot section of 10gauge wire off of a spool. After cutting it the employee who cut it went and took his lunch. Cashier couldn't ring me up till he got back from lunch with the price of wire. 3 employees were extremely rude to me due to the fact I only wanted 5 feet.

This is a home Improvement store true. however, it is REALLY a suped-up hardware store. If you want to really remodel your home as far as windows and such,(and I am responding to the person who wrote the negative comment) you should go to Home Depot, Lowes, or get a contractor to do it. I find the folks at Pat's very helpful for the things I need as far as paint, screws, plumbing, lawncare and the such. But, if I am going to remodel my house, I am going to a place that has a larger selection and I can see the product right in front of my eyes and not order out of a book. You should be more careful about that and not blame the store but maybe put some fault on yourself for believeing a super-hardware store can tend ALL your needs. God Bless. And I give Pat's a 5 star because they always are courteous and know the remedy for my problems and have what I need to repair or replace my items.

truely a nightmare to build a home and use them. window order was museums windows, door order took 3 times to get right, hard to get out to warrenty materials. to many other issues to list. only advantage was there location.
