I've been shopping here for many years. It is definitely the best & oldest "hidden treasure" in the Baton Rouge area. Kathy's (owner) knowledge of antiques is remarkable. Her jewelry & silver collection is by far the best. If you collect hatpins, primitive kitchenware, silver serving pieces, mourning hair jewelry, etc., this is the place to shop!

This shop is one of the best, if not the best, antique shops in the South. The atmosphere is nice, and the antiques are real; not reproductions that some owners try to push off as real. It is a family owned and operated business, and as such you can expect to be treated with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend Lagniappe Antiques to anyone searching for something unique.
