Talk about professional! Mr. Herpin and his office technician at the front desk sat the stage for a first-class consultation. After the office technician gathered a few significant pieces of information, my husband and I were then escorted to a room where an educational video was presented. Mr. Herpin, via video, gave an overall introduction to what bankruptcy is and then proceeded to explicate the detail intricacies of the basic two types. He didn't miss a thing! After the 20-minute educational delineation of the process, he personally came into the room and escorted us to his office. What energy! What knowledge! What down-to-earth tell-it-like-it-is of what to do and what to expect! He took his time with us as though we were his only clients. Now mind you, this was a "free" consultation! He weaved through our circumstances, recommending what was best for us based on our individual needs. He deserved a payment or a gift of appreciation right then and there. But he didn't charge us, NOT ONE RED CENT. All he asked of us was that we take his advice and follow-through. Our knowledge and understanding of the process doubled and then tripled. We listened intently at every word as that wonderful Cajun flair gripped us and held us captive. For the first time, we got it! There were things we could have done to save ourselves from going down the many dark roads we ultimately traveled, only had we come to him earlier. He assured us however, that it was never too late.
