On February 6, 2012, I got my taxes amended for tax year 2011 at Haynes Accounting and Tax Service. I was charged $75 originally to have my taxes prepared.



Unfortunately, they promised me a price that was not met. I asked them how much they were going to charge me to do the amended taxes and they stated $35. They told me to get back with them a week later because they had to wait for my state tax corrections to come in and then they would do the amended taxes. After waiting a week there was no response from them. I then emailedthem three times and called them three times over a four day period. After the four day period, I only received one email from them claiming they would call me on Saturday, February 4 2012. I called them on said date only to get no response. I finally got in touch with them on Monday February 6, 2012 and they told me to come in so they could do my amended taxes. After my taxes were done, they then changed the quoted price of the amended taxes from $35 to $65. I filed a complaint with BBB.
