Poor management, awful maintenance, hypocrite people in charge.



I have lived in Baton Rouge in several locations but GASLITE APARTMENTS was the worst one!

As soon as you pay the deposit, they become completely different persons with no more smiles!!! Make sure you read the contract terms thoroughly before you sign it. You’ll not get move-in special unless you sign a 10 or 12-month lease. Actual rates are higher than what they advertise.

“Free Internet & Laundry” is just a deceptive advertisement to entrap you. Soon you’ll have to drive to a laundry store if you’re gonna wash your cloths to get rid of the filthy washing machines most of which are out of service. They don’t fix them; just readily put an “out of order” notice on them. WiFi sucks too, do not count on the savings!

If you ask for fixing something, it will take you ages to have it fixed only if you persist in reminding them a hundred times!!! I hope they have fixed the lock of the entrance gate that was broken before I moved in.
