I can't say enough about my awful impressions in our case. Test were ordered even though physician understood child would panic, cry and that crying induced vomiting. All of which would make the test void! She witnessed child get upset in office and began vomiting. Child was early two year old. Doctor acted fearful of vomit. Her parting words when questioned about barium swallow study and child who knowingly would vomit were "good luck." I've never seen someone so petrified of vomit, especiall...
