Bluebonnet Dental Care is unprofessional and doesn’t have respect for their customers’ time. Even though I arrived 15 minutes early for a 20-minute procedure, I wasn’t called from the waiting area until 35 minutes after my appointment was scheduled. Fast forward another 90 minutes later and being visited by three different dental assistants who had no clue of what they were doing, no dental work had even been started. I took off from work this morning, only to sit in the lobby and the dentist chair for over two hours, before getting up to leave. My morning was completely wasted. The worst part is that no apologies were extended by the staff upon leaving. Absolutely no customer service!

I will be finding a competent dental provider in the area who cares about their patients’ time and well-being.

My old dentist was a hack, I am so grateful for booking at Bluebonnet Dental. At what was supposed to be a simple cleaning here, I found out my fillings were leaking and the attending doctor even asked how old my fillings were because their condition matched that of a 10-15 year old filling. They were only one year old! But they were able to squeeze me in, fixing half of my mouth in the same visit! The service was great and the payment process (after insurance) were explained clearly to me. 10/10 I will definitely be recommending Bluebonnet to family and friends.

I made an appointment at Bluebonnet Dental care for 11:00 am on Monday. I arrived 7:30 am Monday morning in extreme pain due to an infected impacted wisdom tooth. I was seen early despite my 11am appointment. I was grateful. Everyone was extremely nice with the exception of Dr.Rome .As I layed in Dr. Rome's chair crying my eyes out she told me my wisdom teeth needed to come out gave me antibiotics and told me to schedule a day for them to come out. She said she would give me something for the pain. I was prescribed something called Tramadol . After taking the antibiotics and pain meds for a few days it was not helping . I called 3 days straight begging for some help stronger meds or antibiotics she refused to write me another prescription for anything. She told me the best she could do was take the teeth out for me. Which would have been fine, but I was quoted 3 different prices for the procedure. I was first given paper work saying I would have to pay out of pocket $569.00 after Insurance. When I called back I was told I would have to $876.00 dollars after insurance. I told the person on the phone that I had paper work stating another price. She asked me to fax over what I had and to call back once I faxed it. When I called back I was transferred to another woman who then told me I would have to pay $776.00.This is all going on while I am crying on the phone and confused as to why I was given paper work with a different quoted price .Need less to say I ended up in the emergency room with my blood pressure at 170/114 due to the extreme amount of pain I was in, by this point my face had also gone numb because the tooth was pushing on a nerve... The Emergency room doctor was confused as to why I was prescribed Tramadol for something as painful as an infected impacted wisdom teeth. The ER doctor also did not understand why Dr. Rome refused to prescribe me anything else after 3 days of excruciating pain, and the meds obviously not having any effect. I told the ER Dr. that I even offered to come up to Bluebonnet Dental office and turn the Tramadol back in ,thinking there might be some law about be having 2 different pain meds.Dr. Rome continued to tell me there was nothing else she could do. Which after speaking to my Oral Surgeon during my consultation I was told that wasn't true . I was told that Dr. Rome could have wrote me another prescription for my pain until the procedure. SOOOO After I spent 8 hours in the emergency room they got my pain and blood pressure under control. Like stated previously I ended up finding an oral surgeon who filed my insurance properly at a much lower cost and I was put to sleep(Bluebonnet Dental was going to do a conscious sedation at a much higher cost) ....and funny enough the oral surgeon laughed when I said I was prescribed Tramadol for infected impacted wisdom teeth pain !! He prescribed me hydrocodone and scheduled my appointment to get 4 wisdom teeth removed.. I asked the Oral surgeon why did he think Dr. Rome lied about not being able to prescribe me something else after I called 3 days straight literally crying my eyes out.. He said he didn't like to bash other people in the profession and that he gets that sometimes you do have to let the meds take effect but as soon as he saw my mouth he new what type of pain I was in and that if he had a patient who had called 3 days in a row asking for help he would have prescribed something stronger. I was fully insured not some junky off the street..I obviously had a severe infection and was in real pain!!Nothing worse then your insurance getting billed for an emergency room visit that could have been avoided by a simple pain medication prescription! I will never visit BlueBonnet Dental Again!! Special Thanks to My Oral Surgeon (Walter Jung) I am healing great!!

SCAMMERS. Pretty horrible place. Their services are cheaply done for an outrageous price. They lied about their insurance plans and gave me the runaround when I tried to fix it. Greedy, deceptive, revolving door type of dentistry.

I had a cleaning/check up done...

I had a cleaning/check up done here, and they did a good job, no complaints there. However, the problem is the prices. Their prices are sky high, and they try to sell you everything. I went for a cleaning I came out with a $7000 quote. Luckily the cleaning was only like $150, then I only had one bad tooth and some cavities, but hey tried to pull all 4 of my wisdom teeth out and sell me an implant, and all bunch of stuff. What bugged me the most is that when they try to sell you stuff, they put you in a little office like at a car dealership to try to swindle you over, I kept trying to get a cheaper price or maybe have alternative treatment or something they didn't give a s*** at all. Their attitude is this " If you are rich, WELCOME! if not GTFO" you might as well go to Home Depot and buy you some pliers and pull you own teeth. So yeah, the service is great, just dont walk in here unless you got a couple of grand in your checking account. BTW, later on I found a small time dentist, and had 4 cavities fixed for about $300.

My problem was not with the staff but the bussiness office. First I never a recieve a bill or call about an outstanding balance i had for over a year. Second when I called to clear up the problem they had the wrong insurance information on file. The way she handled the situation was all around wrong blaming me for the wrong insurance information and getting irrate about sending me a bill every month that I never recieved . My suggestion is for your buissness office personel to get better people skill and learn to make a phone call if you haven't recieved payment in over six months. Sadly after this I will no longer be going back.

HORRIBLE!

i had a filling put in here and within two months it had fallen off. That isn't terribly bad and I understand these things happen but not long after that, i had to have a root canal done. Three days later the caps falls off! For over $1000 you would think they could save me some of the horrible pain. You only have one set of teeth...don't put them in these peoples hands!!
