DO NOT use Bennett Plumbing unless you want to hire another plumbing company to come in and fix what Bennett does not know how to fix, can’t fix or don’t want to fix.



I hired this company (actually the owner is the plumber) to come diagnose why I was having issues with my pool heater. The Pentair rep said it was a matter of gas pressure so I asked Bennett’s Plumbing to measure the water column at the pool heater. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the equipment to measure the pressure and suggested I call someone else. In the meantime, I asked him to fix a gas leak that was in the gas line running between my pool heater and a fire pit that I have in my back yard. It was a small leak but it obviously needed to be fixed. Bennett’s Plumbing bought the supplies and stopped the leak. They also “vacuumed” out the water and debris that got into the gas line as a result of the leak. Well…at least that is what they initially told me. Shortly after they “fixed” my leak, my fire pit stopped working. Speaking with him on the phone (which is actually the owner of the company), I learned that they didn’t actually vacuum out the debris, instead they blew compressed air into the line hoping to blow out the trash. The problem is…they blew all of the debris right into the valve on my fire pit thus clogging it up and rendering it useless. I spoke with them over several days….several weeks….and even several months trying to get them to come out and fix what they had destroyed. This was back at the beginning of summer and here I am in November and they still haven’t fixed it. They claim that they are too busy with too many commercial jobs (car washes apparently) to bother with this. They claim they were hired to fix the gas leak…which they did stop the gas from leaking…but they also ruined my fire pit and it has been useless for almost 6 months now. I explained to the owner that I was going to have to file a complaint with the local AG’s office and all he said was “do what you gotta do”. Bennett’s Plumbing either doesn’t know how to fix this issue they created or he doesn’t want to because he has his money. He obviously doesn’t stand behind his work.



I have since spoken with another plumbing company and they will fix what Bennett’s destroyed. This is not a good company and this is not a good person to work with. Under no circumstances whatsoever should you use this company for any job.
