Founded in 1951, the Somerset Hills YMCA is a charitable community service organization, offering more than 200 programs for promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Based in Basking Ridge, N.J., it offers various programs for kids, teens, youth, adults, active older adults and families. Some of its programs include sports, swimming, fitness/nutrition, day care, gymnastics, dance and adventure based activities. The Somerset Hills YMCA also promotes various community initiatives, including fund-raising for Strong Kids Campaign and Golf Classic to enable non-affording individuals to participate in these programs.
