We begin Sylvan back in September 2013 for our 2nd grade son. He was having trouble reading fluently, focusing in class, and understanding complex directions. He began making Cs on his report card and we were concerned. He attends Sylvan 3 days a week for 1 hour each on the Reading program. Almost 6 months later and to the end of our program, his grades have not improved, nor has his reading and focus in class. He had 2 Cs and 1 B on his last progress report, so he is actually doing worst in school then before and his grades are dropping. He's reading level on his Stars testing has not improved and we have seen no change in his education. We are heartbroken that our efforts have been for nothing. We believe Sylvan has been a waste of time and we are extremely sad and lost at where to go from here. I would never tell anyone to use Sylvan learning center.
