Very friendly and helpful. Bruce explained everything he was doing. He was incredibly polite and very knowledgeable about coins. He was easy to talk to and ask questions of. I feel that he was a very fair appraiser. He took a lot of time with me and was very patient. Would definitely do business with again!

They work by appointment only. I set up an appointment to stop in. The guy never showed up. I waited their for about an hour. It is just ridiculous.

Bruce is an amazing source of knowledge, true stories and integrity.He instills confidence that what he says your "stuff" is worth, it is. I feel blessed to have bumped coins with him.

This is the place to go if you want old coins and gold and silver jewelry pieces evaluated. Bruce is very knowledgeable, pleasant, and honest. What a pleasure to meet him! He sorted through my coins and jewelry and told me right away which ones had value and which ones did not. Then he wrote out a check for the pieces he purchased. I was surprised at the value of some old pieces that were sitting around in drawers!

Whatever you do, DO NOT JUST GO TO A STRIP MALL GOLD PLACE!! Or if you do, after you get their price, head over to Durbin Rarities with your gold, silver, coins and collectibles. They will fairly value what you have (often double what the strip mall place just quoted), and pay you on the spot. Finding an "honest man" in this business really is... GOLD!

I had a bunch of gold and silver coins I need evaluated and a jewler in town quoted me 18% less per ounce than the current spot price of gold. Mr. Dubin quoted me 2% less per ounce. I couldn't believe the disparity in quotes and thought Mr. Dubin's bid was more than fair. I highly reccommend him and he was very honest, transparent, and the experience was great.

Great knowledge of his field: coins, stamps and associated rarities. Upfront and honest, and knows where to find information if he does not know it off hand. After all, he has been doing this for over thirty years!
