I used this laundromat this weekend and it was terrible. The laundry attendant is running her own day care center out of this place. This is not the first time that i have been there and she has been watching small children. While loading a machine the coin slot jammed and i had to wait almost 15 minutes for her to come back from the dollar store across the street. By the time the issue was resolved my clothes were 20 minutes behind the rest of my laundry, which meant I would have to be there even longer! Apparently while she was there she bought the children a bag of balloons that she proceeded to fill with water and some with air. It was very frustrating to have to maneuver around two small children that were chasing balloons across the floor. They ran around almost the whole time i was there, except for when she had them sit down while she left them alone for a smoke break. There are only 3 or 4 chairs to sit on and they are in the front by the washers, how will i know if my clothes are dry? The table by the dryers is covered with toys and snacks for kids. And don't get me started on the bathrooms, i have seen spot-a-pots that were cleaner! And they smelled horrible!!! to make a long story short, I spent $55 to have to stand up the whole time and dodge kids chasing balloons. I do not believe that children should be allowed in the workplace and maybe her friends and family members need to stop being cheap and send their kids to a real daycare center because this is unacceptable!
