Claymore C. Sieck Wholesale Florist is a well-established regional wholesale florist company that serves retailers across an eight state marketplace. The Sieck network of ten independently operated companies covers an area that stretches from Richmond, Va. north to the Canadian border and includes greater metropolitan Richmond, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Wilmington, Del., Philadelphia, Erie and Harrisburg, Pa, Trenton and Newark N.J. and Syracuse and Buffalo, N.Y. Claymore C. Sieck began in Baltimore in 1918. Today it features 7,000 square feet of refrigerated space containing hundreds of different varieties of cut flowers. Two thirds of the warehouse is devoted to floral hard goods, containing nearly 10,000 basic and seasonal items for sale everyday to retail flower shops. The Baltimore location also features a newly expanded plant department that contains hundreds of varieties of plants and dish gardens for sale every business day.
