This review is quite a bit late, but my antique violin was taken all apart and fixed, and it turned out beautiful. Still has the beautiful sound too. It was my grandfather's so it holds a lot of sentimental value to me. After 10 years it is still going strong. Would I take another one to him, Yes I would. He even restrung the bow, but the bow wouldn't hold tension. Not his fault, he warned me it might not. But the frog has a scroll and originally came with the violin.
