Hired him to lay down sod, remove old dirt that was soaked in dog urine and put down fresh top soil. He didn't remove any dirt nor did he put down new topsoil. He just put the sod over the urine soaked dirt. The sod wasn't put down right, there was gaps and some sections overlapped the patio, It wasn't cut right. He never came back to fix the mess even when we stopped payment on his check. Now I have to wright him a new check to get his LAWYER to stop calling. He wans to know "Why we are making it so hard for his client to get paid" DONT USE THEM !!!!!

TERRRIBLE!!!!! My husband thinks that they just don't know how to lay a lawn, I think that they are lazy and trying to get the quick buck and don't care about quality work. We even gave Ira the chance to fix the terrible job and they actually made it worse (didn't think that was possible). Either way -- NEVER USE THEM!

Grass Roots Landscaping has been taking care of my lawn need for several years now. Ira has been my go to person anytime I need any type of work done on my property. My lawn is always green and luscious and the talk of the neighborhood. My neighbors are always asking what I do to get my lawn so radiant and I always have to tell them to give GRL a call. Great work at a price you can't beat.

Reading the reviews I was initially hesitant about contacting this company for lawn service but when I contacted the owner he immediately picked up on the first ring and not only was he able to answer all of my questions regarding my project he gave me wonderful suggestions regarding maintence for my grounds. The work that this company did on my lawn was sooooooo amazing there aren't enough stars to rate them. They did the job in a timely manner and left the place spotless. I would definitely tell all of my associates about Grass Roots.
