A horrible experience, dirty, rude ignorant staff, several overdose deaths , stealing, just a bad environment. I would.not.wish this place on anyone. No one I know who went through program stayed clean even a month. Even a staff member overdosed and passed on. Staff having sex with clients. Just another place designed to work the tax payers out of as much money as possible.

My step daughter was mandated by the circuit court in Hartford County MD from the prison system to GAUDENZIA for drug Rehabilitation.N.V.O.H 4615 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore Maryland 21215 Mandatory residential rehab. These programs remove you from your harmful environment and place you into healthier surroundings where you can focus solely on your recovery. When my daughter was there ,she was on the phone constantly. How can anyone in recovery focus on there recovery When focusing on the outside world. How can Gaudenzia in Baltimore Maryland Provide a safe environment ,when they also provide shelter from the cold streets to the homeless. Court Ordered Rehab vs Incarceration: Cost When you take into account the cost that taxpayers spend to keep someone incarcerated and add the repeat offenses that will likely result from an addicted criminal who has not received help, the cost of rehab becomes much less expensive. Rehabs differ in pricing, as some are government funded and others are insurance or self-pay based. .How can Gaudenzia claims it operates on contributions. It receives inmates that are mandated from the prison system. Many people think that if they are court-ordered to complete a drug rehab program, that the system will pay for it.. Often times these programs may not offer much in terms of success either. Gaudenzia solution is to kick the mandated inmate out into the street. Taking no responsibility to any legal Responsibilty in taking custody from the courts. The conditions inside is children and patients getting biten by bed bugs rouches and rodents infested. Addicits climbing in and out of windows to get they fix. Cell phones for drug use. Oh yea that's right When I voiced my concerns your solution was to send her back to jail.So instead of sending her back to jail from to your custody you throw her out in the streets .That was very responsible. Because you didn't need the problem. My step daughter was mandated by the circuit court in Hartford County MD from the prison system to GAUDENZIA for drug Rehabilitation.N.V.O.H 4615 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore Maryland 21215 She was in violation of one of there rules. The the Doctor with his childhood issues, order the staff to throw her out at 8pm into the cold. I HOPE He eventually gets help . I been a New York State Correctional Officer for 29 years. I don't understand When a someone is mandated to a rehab, and the rehab takes custody of that inmate from the prison system that they can just throw her out into the streets. Instead of calling the police to remove her. Hopefully nothing tragic will happen to her in the streets. In Sept of this year she was complaining of bed bug bites rouches and rodents. Babies also live there. On our 1st visit to this rehab we witness the bites on her. When we made I complaint to the facility, they response was Well we can send her back to jail. They was patients going in and out of the ground floor windows to get they drugs. I made Anonymous complaint to the health Dept. in October about the bed bugs. I don't know how a rehab can run a Rehabilitation facility and also a Homeless shelter together. They claim that they operate everything by contributions. It's a good places to get out of jail sooner. The case workers gives you they phone number and extension , tells the family if you have any question to call. Show your support for the recovering family addicit. But when they seems to be a problem in the addict recovery. The case workers don't return your phone call about your concerns. So the only thing you can listen to is the recovery addict who has a long history of manipulating lies. Once again the addict has gotten away with something recently about accusing me and caused problems in my family. Later admitting the information was wrong. Sorry and trusting don't cut it with me anymore. My wife her mother tried to call several times leaving messages in attempts in finding out what the problem was . Supposed to be a honest program. Don't even get Honest any answers from the counselors there. The Families deserve someone to be honest with them .I worked for the New York State Corrections for 29 years.. I know when some one isn't walking the talk and just talking the walk. I don't understand how a recovery addict in her first 30 days in a rehab can make so many phone calls to anyone or anywhere and anytime she wants too.. She should be focusing on her recovery and not the outside world. It's irresponsible of the counselor not to call the family back. What are they hiding? Are they enabling in they recovering or enabling them ? She must be learning to be a better victim.. I am sure the facility I Maryland get money for taking the inmates from the Maryland system. I have to come to my own conclusions since no one there is willing to return phone calls.

Gaudenzia We would be more than willing to assist you in locating the appropriate facility and program but we need a little more information first. Please message us with the name of the person in question and the program in Maryland.

So contacted them and the director called. I wasn't home and the director, case worker with the doctor talked to my wife on speaker phone. Said that her daughter handled it by her calling us. {She couldn;t ever handled anything truthfully thats why she abused drugs and in and out of jail. } Asking my wife if she knew about me writing. They said that they could consider her too send her back to jail, Because of what I wrote. That they don't need the trouble. Never explaining why or what the accusation was all about. This all could of been avoided if the case worker just returned and answered the accusation of my wife bring in a cell phone and about me calling the facility saying the she was on facebook. All false accusations made. The statement that Gaudenzia made could consider her to send her back to jail is the solution of family intervention.
