Although the Ludington Baldwin area is not known for its cuisine you won't be completely disappointed . The food overall is decent with good portions and the occasional surprise in home cook like meals. They have some good hearty meals like their sausage and sauerkraut. All home made. Their Friday all-you-can-eat fish is pollack (this area feels that pollack is superior to cod). It actually is quite good but the grease isn't hot enough to prevent some sogginess. Overall the service is average, the price is very good and the food may surprise you.

We go to Barski's as often as we can when we are up there snowmobiling. The food Is great and they pay attention to detail. OH and great service.

Awesome food and owner cares about his food. We come here whenever possible!

We have been there many times. It is a big favorite with friends and family who come to visit out cottage near by. Its not your typical bar food, the menu is very unexpected for the area. The seared ahi tuna and periogi's are my favorite. The staff has always been very friendly. Definately need to check it out if you are in the area.

The food is fabulous! I realize this is Baldwin people, but really, believe me, this is very affordable! If you got the same quality food in Grand Rapids, you'd be paying triple the price. I reccomend this resturant to all my friends and family passing through. The atmosphere is more like a bar than a resturant, but the food and service make Barski's well worth the trip!

Good food, friendly staff and nice setting. Really like the Chicken Tenders.

Don't plan on dining late, at 7:30 or so very loud music is piped into every area. If you are over 21 you might not care for the music playing. The owner may be a chef, but he looks more like a gang member misplaced from Detroit. Sandwiches are reasonable prices but entrees are expensive for the area. Very few diners on the 4/5 occasions I have stopped on my way through Baldwin. Most I have seen have been myself and 4 othersOf couse the usual few locals at the bar. Not a pleasant environment, but if you want a quick bite to eat it is acceptable.
