Awesome down home Italian cooking!!!

My all time favorite Italian Restaurant. Love the ravioli and canneloni!

When you ask oldtime residents of Bakersfield the name of their favorite Italian restaurant, they usually say Rosa's. I've eaten there several times and have always enjoyed my meal. Favorites are the soups and Half and Half.

When I'm in Bakersfield, I'm not "home" until I get to Rosa's for "Real" Italian food! In Akron, where I grew up, you had to go to "North Hill" to get the Real thing. At Rosa's, I get antipasto; one bite and I'm home again! Shrimp Scampi is a must and Linguini with clams. The seafood is always done perfectly, and I'm picky. The portions are large and the price is right. Home cooked Italian or Fancy Italian without "putting on airs", either way when I eat at Rosa's, I'm Home.

I have eaten there several times over the years with people that are real fans. Over priced, low quality pasta. weak sauces. The atmosphere is tacky and often the staff is doing you a favor by taking your order. Pizza is good.

This is the best italian restraunt in Bakersfield. Great service and fantastic food.

I know that everytime I go to Rosa's that I will get great pizza. I have been going there for years and will continue going there.

We have dined at Rosa's for 20 years. You can count on the mouthwatering pasta dishes to be consistantly good. My favorite is the manicotti with marinara sauce. The sauted mushrooms are very good, also. The decor could use a little updating, but looking past that is worth it for the great food!

I must say that Rosa's is my favorite Italian restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The service is friendly and quick and the food is scrumptious.
