Dustin Fields has been our vet for almost 15 years. Every animal shape & size! In every condition good & bad! We all love our animals! Some people just can't accept the loss and it only prolongs the suffering. Treasure the times you had. Stop blaming everyone but yourself. Knowone made you choose our hometown clinic. Have a wonderful day!

I travel and know many Veterinarians personally from state-to-state. So, I am speaking from experience when it comes to veterinarian care. I never give a one star review unless it is warranted. In the case of "Dr." Fields it would be gracious to give him one star. The staff is not professional either.

During the couple times I did have an experience with them I would be lucky if they answered the phone if I called (during their business hours). One time I was on hold for [no exaggeration] TWENTY minutes. When they finally did actually answer the receptionist was very rude. They don't have caller I.D.- I guess caller I.D. is too sophisticated for them?

Why would I mention caller I.D? Because after several attempts to call them most of the times they don't bother to answer the phone, or they pick it up and hang up on you (without knowing who you are). Like one of those pesky customers that cares about the well being of your pet, unlike them. Look at Google reviews and you will see I am not the only one who has had the same problem.

But a rude unprofessional staff is one thing. As far as the medical care I had a similar experience as Shirl I--them closing EARLY is more important than the health of your pet. And, with my dog "Dr." Fields left him in worse shape than when I brought my dog in. But they weren't shy to try and grab every dollar I had in my wallet. After taking him to another area veterinarian my dogs diagnosis was different. Not only was it different, but they actually cured the ailment. And when I talked to my [several] Veterinarian Doctors that I know from out of state they were shocked of the diagnosis and treatment my dog had received. So, this isn't just my personal opinion only.

Trust me, bring you pets elsewhere! One thing you will notice on review boards (such as this) is that the business has the chance to respond when someone gives them a bad review. Look at every bad review "Dr." Fields gets. You will see NO REPLY from him or his staff. It's because they simply don't care about their customers, or their pets well being. But, then again, the real Vets who have a valid retort do respond with their customers on message boards such as Yelp, Google etc. Fields does not. THAT is the same "care" he will give your pet-none. But they sure do care to grab your credit card.

As a closing note. Those of you who do go into this sorry excuse for a Vet. Notice the stench that is always in the air? Look up at the lights inside the office and see all the dead bugs they don't bother to clean. He doesn't even have a website for Pete sake. Yes, they are full of technology at its best [sarcasm].

If you care about your pet stay far away from this Veterinarian.

Worse vet ever. I used Dr Fields because I was told how good he was. I took my cat to him last week. He diagnosed a urinary track infection gave a shot of fluids to hydrate and antibiotics and sent us on our way after a bill of over $200.

I called 2 days later to say the cat was not eating and doing worse. I was told come buy special cat food and force feed the cat till she would eat and a follow up visit was for Christmas Eve morning. My cat continued to get worse but I was to have a visit the next day so I continued to think things would be good. I then get a call the day before Christmas Eve to say they had decided to close so my cat's appointment would have to wait till 3 more days. I told them the cat was not doing well but obviously to this vet and his staff closing the office was more important than an animal's life. I thought they would have at least had me bring her Tuesday even if they had to stay late since they were canceling all their appointments the next day. This of course was not offered and I was told to just continue with the special food and antibiotics. Thanks for nothing my cat died at 4am this morning while trying to wait for your rescheduled 9am appointment. All I can say to any of you if your animal is really sick this vet and his staff will let your pet die. To think if this was just a urinary tract infection and dead in a week I guess that tells you about this vet.

I strongly advise against taking a cat to this vet, and I will never again take my surviving cat or any other cat there. My experience with the two cats I have taken to him has been that he did not, with either of them, recognize common symptoms of leukemia nor advise me how to treat related conditions. I ended up taking both cats to Hartland Cat Hospital for treatment, and for one cat it was too late. Appropriate treatment sooner may well have, at least, preserved her life and the quality of her life a bit longer. Unfortunately, I haven't found that any of the local vets are well versed in cat care.

This is the best Vet Clinic in...

This is the best Vet Clinic in the County! They are the most kind, caring people I have ever met. They love my Molly as much as I do. I have had two emergencies with my Molly (a 2lb chihuahua) and both times they have been very professional and compassionate. They don't add on things to run up your bill and they have a wonderful staff. I would highly recommend them.
