“Heaven on Earth Restaurant,” off exit 86 N.B. on I-5. It’s a place I passed by a few times thinking it was being re-modeled due to the roof tarps. However, when driving by at night, and the upper level is lit, the Restaurant is quite picturesque. The real scenery in indoors, starting with and large display of baked goods that is displayed on tables not just behind glass cases as in most similar eateries. To me, this is a more personable approach to the customer. The dining area is also uniquely eye catching with a choice of tables, sofas, or arm chairs to sit in. Definitely an inviting atmosphere to hang out after a meal and enjoy the fireplace if lit, or watch the game on the Flat screened TV that hangs above it. At the suggestion of the wait staff, I had the soup bowl with an entrée. The soup bowl was large enough that I had to take the rest to go. Heaven on Earth’s boasts of being famous for their cinnamon rolls and from what I can tell, this isn’t an exaggeration.
