The Lowe's in Avondale is really awful. My dad and I are building a deck and we needed lumber. The first time we went there the one lone employee was helpful. The guy helping to unload lumber from the forklift guy and guide him around was equally helpful. A guy even handed me a red warning lumber flag after I asked for one which I thought was nice. We returned to the store a week later to buy the remainder of the lumber, and the experience was a lot worse. The day was a late Friday afternoon and it was obvious. The employees were all standing around (all 6 of them) talking to each other and watching us. Not the least bit interested in helping either my dad or myself, nor do any work. I could overhear them talking. They just wanted to get out of there and party. Hilariously one of those kids has his employee of the month picture on the front wall, lol. The lumber was poor quality. It was all soaking wet, twisted and unacceptable. One board after another had issues. If the boards weren't twisted they were rotten or chipped. It was dangerous lifting the lumber around without gloves, and when I got home I had to pick several splinters out of my hands. Meanwhile just getting to the lumber was a hassle because obstacles were sitting on the floor. The giant carts both employees and customers use to load and push the lumber around was another issue. There were many carts just sitting around, many with lumber on them, and always in our way. They didn't appear to belong to anyone. I guess the employees didn't want to take the boards off the carts and place them on the shelves. Oh, and the bags of Quikrete concrete mix. At least 30 packages were ripped apart and spilling all over the place. The nice bags were out of reach on the back shelf. That whole aisle was a mess. The floors were messy and a bunch of carts were sitting in our way once again. Our first time at Lowe's a man helped load our lumber into our truck. The second time nobody came.

This store has by far THE WORSE MANAGMENT TEAM! They do not care about their employees, they fire ones that work hard and lie on documents after firing the individuals. I wouldn't recommend shopping at this location unless you want poor customer service from understaffing general employees and over staffing on managers who don't communicate to each other!

Seriously....I purchase a stove from the Avondale Lowes and they do not instruct me that we need to purchase a cord for my install (shouldn't it show up when ringing through the purchase?). The installers come and can't install the unit because we don't have the cord. We have to go purchase the cord and do the install ourselves and when we open the stove it has a small blemish on it. I call in my concern and the representitive basically tells me this happens all of the time and there are only 2 trained appliance people and I should come in when one is working. I will take my cash elsewhere; really poor service and responsiveness all the way around....

I bought a refrigerator and had it delivered. The sale was easy and the delivery guys did a great job. They had the frige in the house in minutes and all hooked up in what seemed like seconds later.

Iordered a window from lowes I had to keep calling to get the the guy to come out and measure .Because for the Pella warranty they have to install the window.They finally came out and measured my window the guy never gave the measurements to store for a week after I had to keep calling,.So I could order the pella window.After all that I couldn't get the window in Pella.So Ihad to go back in the store and the guy wasn't there .IT took 2 hours for myhusband with the manager to get the a window .We had to wait 3 weeks for the window to come in .A message was left on my machine to come in and pick it up. I called the store and some one wrote in the computer we were very happy and would pick the window up.some one was suppose to call us in 48 hours to schedule installation. that didn't happen.multiple phone calls later i was told it would be installed in 2 vweeks.I forgot to mention I had to pay extra for a small job.Six calls later its suppose to be installed this week !
