I took my truck there (2002 Dodge 2500) a couple of weeks ago to have ball joints replaced. (Inspection revealed the problem) This truck is new for me, and I have never owned a 4WD. Without looking at the truck, they gave me an estimate for the repair. I brought it back the following week for the work to be done. On the day he was doing it, he called me and said, 'These are custom parts and not stock parts. I can not do this. I did not realize this until I had it on the lift and the parts disassembled. I do not even know what kind of ball joints are on here and can not guarantee the work'. So, I went to pick up the truck and he charged me $90 for the work he DID do, which was disassemble and then reassemble a truck he could not work on. Can someone see from inspecting a vehicle PRIOR to working on it, whether or not a part like that is custom? Should money be charged for no actual repairs? I see it is a poor business practice and I would not take anything there again. Be very careful.

Jack upheld a warranty that was 5 month up. I have him do all my exhaust and AC work every time. Well recommended.
