You are not going to see many students there and here is why. James Brown not only does not know how to teach, he is not very skilled in the art itself. I can not tell you how many times he messed up half through the set of motions he was showing us. On top of that he is not able to admit his own mistakes, prone to fits of anger and periods of complete indifference. On multiple occasions he just would not show up for class or be late without any excuse or explanation. Once when we showed up for class, he just said that he is going out to make some money and we should just clean the place and train on our own. I am a female, and this person produced sexual innuendos toward me, when I seriously told him to stop because it makes me feel uncomfortable, He also lectured me saying, that if I am uncomfortable, it is my own problem and I should work on myself. If that would not be enough, the place itself is completely unsafe.

Electric wiring is exposed, heavy panels are leaning on the walls. On several occasions those panels fell, barely missing to cause serious injury to the student. In four month that I was training there we had few new students coming to check the school, ALL of them left in disgust. Needless to say that I left in disgust as well. No matter how hard I tried to like this martial art form, James Brown just made it impossible. Did I mention that I never got a refund?
