I moved in August 18, 2012 and...

I moved in August 18, 2012 and just gave my notice for leaving, I will be moving out in 60 days. These apartments are TERRIBLE!! I had the worst experience with them, when I moved in the bathroom and kitchen cabinets were so badly taken care of, they didn't even care enough to paint over the stains all over the cabinets in both places. This place has a beautiful pool and is a very large and well located community but it is NOT worth all the stress I had to go through. In the bathroom when you opened the cabinets under the sink there was a unbearable smell that we would try lemons, febreeze, all sorts of crazy things to get rid of it and still nothing went away. ON TOP OF IT ALL..When you walked into the closet the metal thats supposed to be the finishings from the wooden floor going to the carpet it was unfolded and pointing up...there was a medium size HOLE in the carpet that they did not care to fix. I had to put a rug on top of that metal part sticking up and the HOLE to not embarrass myself when friends and family came over. Just for you to have an idea of how much this place is terrible my husband came home 2 times and there was somebody in the apartment without us ever being notified that they would be there!!!



I informed management of the cabinet issues, smell and closet issues after 2 days I informed the office of all these issues, can you believe that it took them weeks to fix the dangerous metal sticking up...the smell they just ignored the fact and did not fix it...the cabinet issues was just now painted after 2 MONTHS!!!! I was trying to stay calm until they painted the cabinets and did a SLOPPY job to the point there are drops of paint all over the floor, under one of the cabinets they left it with the base coat, and stepped all over my toilet when painting the cabinets in the bathroom..how I know this?....there was paint all over it, I had to scrub so hard for it to come off.



After I couldn't take anymore bs I decided to call the manager and be hard on her because I was getting emotionally drained in having to deal with this. I informed Miss Angie that I was very unhappy and did not want to stick around if she was not willing to help, she stated she would call me back with a solution. Turns out she did NOT call nor care about my issues, she sent me a letter informing me my 2 dogs which I had JUST PAID THE FEE FOR (the check was written on 11/8/2012 and I received this letter on 11/19/2012), could no longer be there that they had to leave by 12/14/2012. I presented her with my arguments and she still did not care now I will post this story everywhere possible so that everyone can know how HORRIBLE THIS PLACE IS.

Horrible Customer Service

My daughter was living here and someone vandalized her vehicle. She called the courtesy officer and never recieved a call back.After being watched by a stranger everyday as she exited her car she still could not get a courtesy officer to respond. The office personel told her the courtesy officers are for them and not the resident. The person that was watching her did not live on the property but was visiting people there and no one in the office tried to help find out who they were. We had to get an attorney to help us and after that the office staff became more rude with us. These people in the office should seek employment else where if they do not wish to help the residents without being rude.
