On June 3rd, a sales agent from Terminix knocked on my door. I listened to the pitch and decided to give the service a try as long as I could be billed in a month in the week of July 3rd. I was assured that this was the case and was asked for a credit card. I was also told that I could provide a VOIDED check. I did so and we scheduled an appointment for treatment.



The service was provided by an agent the next day on June 4th. He did a fine job.



My VOIDED check was cashed on June 7th. I found out about that on the same day and called the Terminix location. They claimed that by giving over a VOIDED check that I was agreeing to an auto-deduction from my account. If the sales agent knew this would happen, I was lied to.



Now, I am in a one-year deal with a company that is either clue less or has sales agents actively misrepresenting their billing process.
