Karla and Stayin' Home are conscientious, careful, and caring. We had ultimate confidence in her and in Kim when we met them and they were very loving with our two dogs. Then Karla instigated another "meet and greet" herself when the time lapse between the initial one and her first sitting was a bit longer than expected. She sent us text-message updates with every visit--complete with pics of our pups--and showed up as promised and for thorough, engaged visits. The doggies were happy and healthy when we got back--the most we could ask of any pet sitter! Very happy with the service and will use Karla and company again and again.

Karla Caddell took care of my super shy Tonkinese cat. She spent time with us before we left town finding out about our home and our cat. She is so thorough and really took her time getting to know all of our preferences and making sure she had every piece of information needed in case of emergency.



When we go out of town, my cat really doesn't come out from under our bed. He came out for Karla though! She was kind enough to give me a call and assure me that he had come out from under the bed and was doing fine. It was so nice to get that update and know everything was okay.



I recommend Karla for anyone needing pet sitting in South Austin. She is great with animals, very detailed and trustworthy. Did I mention that she did all of this even though I asked her at the last minute? She rocks.

We have two Brussels Griffon, our children, and Karla began pet sitting for us in March of this year following the departure of our previous sitter who moved out of the area. From our initial meeting to introduce my husband and I (the dogs had already met her as a substitute teacher), we knew that she would take excellent care of them. She provides daily updates and often, pictures and videos, which are absolutely priceless (and find me laughing hysterically!).

Karla Caddell with Stayin' Home Pet Care has been pet sitting for my 2 dogs and 2 cats for the past year. She’s great!
