I don't recommend Sidney Cox, they overcharged us for their time and in doing so, took advantage of my wife. I used Sidney Cox plumbing once for an exterior water leak that I had located and dug out. They charged over $230, which I thought was excessive but let it go because it was on a Friday late afternoon I figured they were charging overtime. We had another exterior leak, a very simple fix, which I dug up and had ready for them to repair. I had to leave and told them twice not to take advantage of my absence and not to overcharge my wife. They arrived at 9:10 am and left at 10:30 am. The materials were $10 and they charged $280 for labor - $140 an hour for two hours. So they took advantage of my wife by they rounded up 40 minutes at $140.00 hour. I called their office to let them know and to explain that they cheated my wife and we will no longer use them. Their office did not seem to care, which tells me that this is standard practice for them.

be sure to confirm hourly rate and clarify everything. They also charge you the hourly rate for driving to your location..be careful.

Do not use this company! I made an appointment. I waited for 2 hours past when they were supposed to be at my house, then called. The man told me that he remembered talking to me, but forgot to put me on the list for the day!!! I took off of work for nothing!
