My father was there in May of 207 until August 2017. The staff was horrible. The DON and the Assistant DON were the worse as well as the so-called social worker. If you complain and call the State, you'll be out of there before you know it. They lie and do whatever they can to get rid of your family member to get rid of you. They stick together even though they know you're telling the truth. That is not the place to leave your family member unless you visit often. and talk to your family about what is going on. If you don't visit often you'll think everything is fine.

My husband stayed at Cedar View during the last weeks of his life. From the initial visit paid to Ed at the hospital till he passed away, Cedar View staff were professional, responsive and compassionate. They worked hand in hand with hospice to make his ending as peaceful as could be. The administrator, Director of Nursing and social worker always ensured that all of Ed's needs were being met. They took care of our family as much as they cared for Ed. Cedar View was everything that I had hoped it would be.

There has been a tremendous amount of change at this facility over the past few months. New leaders in place that have ensured that staff are doing their jobs and doing it well. The staff seem so much happier and they are friendly and helpful. It is clean and the residents are well cared for. I have been impressed and so pleased every time I have visited. Whenever I have had questions or concerns the Administrator and the Nursing Director are friendly and follow through with helping me. They really seem to care about the residents and even us as family members. I cannot say enough good about the staff and the care. Good job, Cedar View! You are truly one of the best of the best.

For families who are looking for a warm environment for their elderly relatives, you couldn't find a more hospitable place than Cedar View.
