Nicole grew up in a small town southwest of San Antonio and as the oldest child she learned how to listen and be patient. She was also blessed to have the opportunity to live with her Mimi(grandmother) on an island in the Caribbean, where she learned how to speak Patois(a broken French dialect), eat a wide and delicious variety of fresh fish, exotic fruits and vegetables and odd native animals like Crapo(a large sugar cane frog) and agouti(a distant cousin of the possum). She returned to Texas and moved to the great city of Austin in 2003 where she worked with an amazing Audiologist who taught her the ropes of hearing health and the art of true patient care. She has been in the hearing health world for over ten years and brings her knowledge, skills and passion for helping others to Zounds.
