I had a great experience with Dive World, Mike (owner), and Wayne (instructor). My kids 11, 12, 15 just went through certification and we bought all our gear at Dive World as well prior to going to Florida for a dive trip. Wayne had my kids prepared and the equipment we bought worked out great. I had not dove in quite a while so it was great to have all the help getting started again.

I have been utilizing Dive World since 1995 and have been very satisfied with their operations. I have used other dive shops in the area, but I always end up back at Dive World. I received all my certs up to Dive Master, and am planning on using them for some if not all of my technical certs and equipment.Dive World offers classes from a wide variety of agencies just in case you want to stay with one specific agency.There are two locations, both on 620, one a mile or so from some of the popular diving areas, and the other a little closer to town.Even if you are using another dive shop it is still worth while to stop in and talk with the staff or instructors, or just take a look around.
