Spoke with Ben Hallman the owner of Austex appliances and told him drive down from Dallas to look at appliances on sat. He assured he'd be there and look forward to showing me. Arrived and one, they are supposed to be open till three and gates were locked. Recieved responseby text 3 hrs later, are you still in area. I responded and never heard back from him. Drove 4 hrs amd knew we were coming. I can imagine customer service you'd recieve after sale if this what you get before sale.

What to say...well ordered a freezer and it got here and didn't work. So they sent a company out to fix it and it was going to cost 3000 to fix so they refunded me after the inconvenience of waiting for 2 weeks. Then told me I had to pay the company for coming and checking it or give them the unit. Told them even tho it was technically mine now, since they agreed to let me just have the piece of junk, I told them they could have it. And they were obnoxious when telling me to pay the company because I was at work and couldn't use my phone they repeatedly texted me. Telling them how obnoxious they were I ended up being told to go "f*** myself for being a superfical pompous b****" so that's that. This all coming from the supposedly owner.

0 starts would be more appropriate....Believe the negative reviews! Don't expect any service after your credit card has been charged. Their installers are inferior, they came to install a dishwasher and a microwave vent hood with no drill. ???? The dishwasher was installed crooked, the microwave/vent hood has still not been installed after 2+ weeks. When we contacted the store to discuss what to do next they basically told us "you're on your own". I prefer to buy from a local business but if they can't back the products they sell or help when there's a problem...why should I? I'll stick with Sears or Home Depot from now on. Even if I spend a few dollars more there, in the long run they will back their product and support me after the sale. The owners at Aus-Tex are crooked liars.
