Did this school mistake America for WWII Germany? How DARE they tell a child and a parent what they CAN and CANNOT EAT!

I can't believe that a school would dictate what a parent should send for lunch. This is the problem with public schools today. It is not your place to tell the parents what to do with their children. Any parent that sends their kids to this school is crazy.

Please, stop the lunch monitoring, The mother doesn't need to 'explain herself', nor apologize. I feel she is owed an apology. You eat what you want, and never mind what's in someone else's bag!

I think Peanut Butter is a healthy snack! It has protein and appeals to the taste buds of children. Peanut butter should be allowed, but I still think that any nutritional guidelines should be made in the form of educating parents, not in the form of rules. I would strongly suggest this. Schools should not try to usurp parental rights and/or authority.

My child is almost of age to attend a school like this and we were looking into this one! I am happy that their communist nutrition tactics came out before we paid to put her here. We will place her elsewhere! In the meantime, I suggest they learn to TEACH the children in their care, rather than single them out based on what they bring for lunch.

Dictating what a child can eat for lunch when it is merely a common dessert usurps the parents rights and leadership within the family. The fact that someone feels that it is OK to act as a child's parent needs to take a look at what they are doing.
