The Loft does karaoke Tues-Thu. Good selection of songs. bartenders are sexy and friendly. Crowd is pretty supportive. BUT the sound setup leaves a lot to be desired. With just 2 PA speakers, one placed on each side of the stage and no monitor speaker, it's sometimes difficult to hear yourself well enough as the singer to stay in balance with the music, being too low or too loud. The PA near the entrance just doesn't sound good.
It's not bad, but it could be a whole lot better with minimal effort. On Wednesdays I recommend just going to the Playground, about a block away.
