It is our goal to see and treat patients as quickly as possible. However, during peak hours of operation and when acute patients are being treated, wait times may be longer than usual. Patients with extreme situations (cardiac problems, severe lacerations, etc) who arrive during hours of operation will be seen immediately. If you do not already have an existing relationship with a physician, we will be happy to help you find one through our University HealthService Center. Call 706/SER-VICE (737-8423) in the Augusta area or toll free 1/800/476-SERV (7378) outside Augusta, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You will speak with a registered nurse who can help you locate a physician to fit your specific needs. By calling, you'll have access to more than 450 highly skilled physicians who practice at University Hospital.  Putting the needs of our patients and their families first is our number one priority. We try to keep these needs in mind in every aspect of how we manage our facilities and deliver the highest quality health care possible. If there is anything we can do to improve your experience at either of our locations, please feel free to let us know.
