White River Buddhist Temple is a religious organization associated with the Buddhist Churches of America. It offers weekly services for adults in Japanese and English. It organizes Dharma School services and classes for children ages preschool through high school on Sunday mornings throughout the school year calendar. The temple recognizes various religious happenings on the Buddhist calendar in addition to regular weekly and monthly religious gatherings. It also provides memorial services. Through its Young Buddhist Association, the temple provides opportunities for junior and senior high school members to meet socially, to deepen their religious understanding, and prepare themselves to be the future leaders of the Sangha.
