This place has gone downhill over the last 4 yrs. I'd switched vets because of concerns but on this day I had no choice (so I thought) so we took our pet there. And again Dr S is all about worst case. Wanted to do all this blood work, X-rays, pain meds, and at first I agreed, but she wanted the dog left until they could get "work" her in. Well if you think the animal is that sick, then should that be a priority?? So I found another place, and they too did blood work, all was normal, no X-rays, only acid build up from not eating, due to vaccines.....

Dr. S is all gloom and doom about your pets. Please go elsewhere.

We had our last dog seen by Dr Sammons for most of his almost 17 yrs. So when we got a new puppy, it seemed a great choice as we have always thought she was top notch. However, there is a roadblock to that great care called Kari that refuses to make appointments like they used to. I am disabled and rely on my husband to drive our dog Barney to check ups. Since Kari has apparently taken over operations, she can no longer accomodate my furbaby being brought up there after 5 pm....So Dr Sammons told us last time he needed tests done before they could give us Frontline and Heartguard but she refuses to make appointments even though she is well aware of the situation. Its a shame when a great Dr has an office manager that runs loyal customers off. Dr Sammons if you want to talk to me you know the cell number. We are moving next week and would like to hear from you. Two and a half stars for the Dr...ZERO for the nasty attitude of your staff.

Country View is the best place to take your beloved pets. I have always received the best of care, same day appointments, and great prices! Dr. Sammons is absolutely fantastic and really loves all the animals she cares for.
