PROS: Vogt Riding Academy gives beginners (young and old) a great base in english riding and dressage. They have mixed classes, and teach you great horsemanship. Its in town (right near emory hospital) adults and kids in the same classes really good for beginners.GENERAL: you will get a stern talking to if they dont help out with barn chores, or do something potentially dangerous, so you will learn about horseman ship. this place has a great history, and a little shaky family (the owner and her sister fight) CONS: although spectacular for beginners and long time costumers at the barn, its really not some place i could see my self boarding a horse here. the lease situation is just like buying 6 lessons a week and having the same school horse, so i didnt get that much out of it. i have gotten NO support in showing in FEI shows but i started showing a TB gelding and in 7 months i've all ready been in 2 first level shows. i still ride at vogt for excercise but i plan to move elsewhere.
