Fantastic ramen place at Ponce City Market, but there's one caveat: Ton Ton doesn't serve alcohol. This can be easily remedied by purchasing a beverage at Tap before coming to Ton Ton, so they do allow you to bring in outside beverages, but still. Other than that, it's a really cute place: Small and cozy, very limited menu, but everything on it is worth getting! I ordered a garlic butter corn bomb with my ramen, and it was an excellent choice.

Ramen is all the rage now, and Ton Ton is one of the newest restaurants to serve this dish in Atlanta. I decided to pop in while I was at Ponce City Market, and I'm glad I did. I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Classic Ramen, which was a treat. I loved the pretty bowl and almost didn't want to eat it (but I was starving, so of course I dug in soon after it was served). The broth was flavorful, and the ingredients were fresh.

My only complaint is that my seat at the ramen bar was shaky. I thought I was going to fall a few times. Next time, I'd sit in the dining area...it seemed more quiet and nicer in that area anyway.

Other than this, I can't wait to get back.

One of the newest restaurants at Ponce City Market, from Chef Guy Wong (pretty well known for Asian food in Atlanta). The menu here is small but everything is delicious. The classic ramen is the way to go - everything comes in pretty bowls great for Instagram pics. Sit in the dining room for a more intimate atmosphere, or grab a spot at the ramen bar to be a little more social.
