I have rented from Thrifty for over 15 years, since college. But this rental was the worst travel experience ever. The staff could not answer any question without referring to a manager. . They gave my rental to a blue chip customer after I packed my bags and check the car at the exit. They stated that it was recalled for maintenance. The staff person parking the cars actually rolled her eyes at me when I waited for thirty mins for a car that was close to what I reserved. The car seemed to be just returned and not cleaned. It did not "smell fresh", ill tell you that. The "new" parking area is quite dark so you don't see all of the scratches and dings until you drive off the airport property. I glad I purchased the insurance. They also over charged the bill by adding some useless service such as a motor club maintenance fee. Above all, they refuse to refund any part of the bill due to above problems.
