Great beer selection, and the food is equally good. The staff is very helpful when it comes to choosing beers. The atmosphere is good but the space can be a little tight.

Not only does The Porter have an amazing beer selection, but their food is hands down the best in Little 5 Points. The brunch menu is delicious! The servers and bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus. Of course parking is tight and Little 5 but well worth it!

People think the Porter is all about the beer, but they've got some good food to go with that amazing beer selection. You just have to make your way to the back past the packed galley bar in front.

The beer selection is amazing and actually a bit overwhelming. Thankfully the bartender helped me a pick an amazing dark-as-night beer. Food was really good. Love the vibe.

It's all true :) This place is fantastic. If you're looking for a _large_ selection of beer, excellently prepared bar food with vegetarian options, hip atmosphere and good service.

I went there on a week night, sat at one of the many tables in the back. We got recommendations for beer and orders black bean burger / mussels / cesar salad. I messed up my order and asked for the arugula side salad after the order was already in; it got delivered promptly and didn't show on the bill. Wow.

Service was prompt and with a smile. Prices very fair for the quality. We had a great time and will be back.
